The Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) is responsible for setting standards, weights and measures. Manufacturers and exporters who want to export/do business with Saudi Arabia should ensure that their products comply with SASO standards. All appliances are inspected on arrival to ensure that they meet SASO specifications.
