Product Description:
APCN drilling fluid desilter is the 3rd phase solids control equipment. It is used after desander. Many
users are willing to operate drilling mud cleaner, which is integration of desander, desilter and bottom shaker. Desilter flow rate or treating capacity is generated by hydrocyclone quantity. Usually, each 4" cone holds 12~15m³/h capacity.
No matter oil and gas drilling, water drilling, geothermal well drilling, HDD or other solids removal project, solid separation industry, Desilter separator will help on particles removal, usually for 15~47microns

Desilter Equipment In Solids Control System
A desilter is the 4th phase purification equipment in the mud system. It holds similar principle and operational way as desander. However, the separation point will be finer. Depends on clients requirement, it can be set to different numbers hydrocyclone. Desilter cones are typically 4”, but some client will request 3”, 5” as well. So it is rather flexible on capacity configuration. Desilter can be fit with the bottom shaker or not. Or it can be combined with shaker and desander together to be the mud cleaner. We call desilter as the 3rd phase solids control equipment.
