Mud gun is designed for use in a solids control system of a Drilling Rig .It is one kind of special tool
which mainly uses for mixing drilling mud in the circulatory system and prevents the mud precipitates. The structure of equipment is simple, easy and flexible Operation. A mud gun is the ideal equipment to guard against precipitates in a solids control system. The mud gun is installed in a mud tank.

It is used along with a mud agitator which is placed in the middle of tank whereas the mud gun is kept in the corner of a tank
Mud Guns are designed for submerged service in mud pits and are popular in 2", 3". Besides, 4” is available against client request. They can be high pressure gun, or low pressure, high volume service such as in mud mixing systems employing centrifugal pumps.
All mud guns are equipped with handles and swivel joints as illustrated, permitting 360° rotation. Length should, in all instances, be specified when ordering.
