C9 Resin is thermoplastic, slightly yellow aromatic resin obtained from polymerizing unsaturated petroleum-derived
aromatic components. The color is normally from 4# to 12# according to different grades.
C9 Resins are produced from aromatic crackers like Vinyltoluenes, Indene, Alpha Methylstyrene, Stryene, Methylindenes, etc, the current major catalyst is BF3.
The major applications are hot melt adhesive, solvent base adhesives, paints, rubbers and tires, etc.
