Physical and Chemical

Feature:

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose is an anionic linear macromolecular structure cellulose ether. White or ivory fiberized celluflour or white powder, oderless, tasteless. Easily dissolved in cold or hot water to form a clear solution of certain viscosity.

Application & Function

An important ionic water-soluble cellulose ether, it can be retarder, water retention, thickening agent, adhesive and rheological agent. Used in cement, concrete, mortar, plastering anhydrite, water resistant lacquer putty, adhesive plaster, sealing gypsum. CMC can improve the water retention and adhesive strength obviously. it has the features of good adhesivity and indehiscent. It can be cleaner for building materials. it can be used together with potassium soap in wall putty as lubricant and incremental agent.
