A brief description of the B-UV-S desktop UV weather
resistance test chamber:
B-UV-S is suitable for evaluating the relative durability of non-metallic materials such as paints, coatings, plastics, etc. through accelerated aging tests of light and water exposure. It is especially suitable for observing the destruction of physical properties of particularly durable materials, such as reduced gloss, fading, haze, strength reduction, chalking, cracking, blistering and embrittlement, etc. It is also suitable for food, medicine and cosmetics industries.
Application in the food/pharmaceutical industry
It can meet ICH-Q1B's light stability test requirements for new raw materials and new preparations: near-ultraviolet fluorescent lamps can emit light at 320~400nm, and there is a large energy emission at 350~370nm; samples should be exposed to a lot of cold white light At 1.2×106 Lux·hr, the near-ultraviolet energy is not less than 200w·hr, so that the stability of the drug and the preparation can be directly compared.
