Hexagonal wire mesh is made of high quality galvanized or Galfan coated steel wires. The heavy zinc coating
makes the hexagonal wire mesh a outstanding corrosion and rust resistance performance. The wires are double twisted into hexagonal meshes. It is non raveling and the edge of the mesh is reinforced with a thicker wire, which is called selvedge wire.
The hexagonal wire mesh are installed on the slope to resist the landslip, debris flow, snow avalanche and other natural hazard.
The hexagonal wire mesh is a type of active protection system, which is fastened by the anchors, bolts and steel cables. The hexagonal wire mesh are deployed from top of the mountain or slope down to the bottom. And each hexagonal wire mesh will be sewn together at the edge to form a whole protection to the slope. The small hexagonal meshes can block smaller stones and minimize the harm to the ground, people and properties.
The hexagonal wire mesh can also be used as passive rockfall barrier system. The hexagonal wire mesh or with steel ring net is fastened to the ground by supporting rope, foundation base and steel column. It is widely used to block the snow avalanche.
