Product Description:
Ferrous Ascorbate
It is Ferrous salt of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C).
Ferrous Acorbate resulting by reacting
ascorbic acid and iron. This has fantastic absorption as ascorbic acid enhances absorption of iron. Ascorbic acids reduce ferric iron to ferrous iron which remains soluble even at neutral pH.
Application:
Nutraceutical & health care preparations like liquid, capsule, tablet etc.
Specification:
Fine, dark violet coloured dried powder, Water soluble, Moisture NMT 7%
pH 4.5 to 7.5
Ferrous content 16% to 19% w/w
Ascorbic Acid content 55% to 65% w/w
Packing:
25 Kg in HDPE drum
