Pelton turbine is suitable for power plant where the water energy is available at high head and low flow
rate. the advantage of this type of turbine is that each single nozzle pipe can be regulated separately if large fluctuations of water occur. the main parts of Pelton turbine are runner, shaft, nozzle pipe, casing, etc.
