The operation principle of GT is to let the materials in liquid state form the thin film
on the surface of the cylinder heated through steam or other thermal carrier. For one turn of the cylinder, the film will be completely dried and the product will be removed by the scraper. The exposed surface of the cylinder will contact the materials again to form the film and carry out the drying.
Features:
1. Taking the steam or oil as the heat source. The heated area is big. The heat efficiency is high. Heating is uniform.
2. The drying speed and rate is good. The heat transmission for the wet materials on the cylinder wall is from the inside to the outside and uniform. The temperature gradient is high so it can make the film surface keeps the stronger evaporation strength.
3. The drying time is short, sometimes only needs 7-30 seconds. The machine is suitable for the heat sensitive materials.
4. The operation is simple. And the maintenance is easy.
Applications:
GT Series Cylinder and Scratch Board Dryer is widely used for the drying of tablet making and other operation procedures of the sticky and pasty materials. The machine has been used in the foodstuff, pharmaceutical, chemical industry and so on fields with good performance.
