PDC cutter is
made of diamond micro-powder and hard tungsten carbide under high temperature and high pressure. It possess of high wear resistance like diamond, at the same time the impact resistance like tungsten carbide and that's made it the best material as a drill bit cutter. Reinforced PDC cutter has higher dense diamond powder, claw tungsten carbide substrate made the two layers solid as whole one.
Application of PCD turning cutting tools insert
This kind of PDC inserts is sintered at high pressure and temperature, which is composed of diamond and tungsten carbide. It can be embedded into mine drill that used in stratum drilling, which is economic and durable.
Features of PCD turning cutting tools insert
1. High hardness, abrasion resistance and impact resistance
2. High speed
3. Cutter layout is force balanced to drill a precise round hole and reduce bit whirl
4. Gauge pads have tungsten carbide inserts for maximum wear resistance
5. The diamond layer with over 1 mm thickness makes PDC cutter very high abrasion resistance.
Application Industry: Oil drilling, Coal mining, Gas drilling, Well drilling
