Product Name: Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose
Cas no:9004-65-3
Definition: we choose high purity cotton as the original material to get the odorless and tasteless white powder after special etherification in alkaline condition.
Granularity: percent of pass 98.5% min for 100 mesh and 100% for 80 mesh
Carbonization Temperature: 280-300 ℃
Apparent Density: 0.25-0.70 g/cm3, the proportion is 1.26-1.31
Color Change Temperature: 190-200 ℃
Solubility: soluble in water and some solvents, such as appropriate proportion of ethanol/water, propanol/water, methyl chloroform, etc. water solution is in the nature of surface activity with high transparency and stable performance. different specification, different gel temperature and performance. solubility waries with its viscosity.
As the content of methoxyl group decreases, the gel point will increase, the water solubitity and the surface activity will decease.
