Product Description:
"Hydrostatic pressure testing" is a diagnostic technique to perform hydrostatic tube test, hydrostatic
pipe test, hydro test of hoses, cylinder hydrotest, hydrotest of pressure vessels & boilers, hydro test of cross country pipe lines, valves, castings, components etc. for leaks or defects. The hydrotest pump equipment is used to check the component to be tested, is being filled up with an incompressible liquid, usually water or oil. With the help of a positive displacement reciprocating plunger pump incorporating appropriate safety relief and controls, the pressure of the test component is slowly increased to a predetermined set point and held for a predetermined time. Visual inspection is subsequently performed to determine whether any leakage exists or the pressure reduces from set pressure point.
PressureJet offers wide range of hydrostatic pressure testing pumps & equipments ranging from 1 lpm to 770 lpm and pressure up to 2800 bar. Hydraulic pressure test pump is either electric motor driven or engine driven.
PressureJet also offers hydrostatic pressure testing equipment with pre-filling cum pre-pressurizing cum pressure building system. For large volume of hydro test combine hydro testing unit is most preferred solution. This hydrostatic pressure test equipment is compact, efficient & cost effective, available in different combinations of pressure and flow. The unique automatic hydro test controller is a standard feature of this system. However, automatic hydro test controller can be supplied seperately to inprove efficiancy and avoid operator mistakes.
Though theoretically water is considered as non compressible fluid, it requires considerable amount of feeding to raise the pressure.
“How much water is to be injected to raise certain pressure?” and “What time will it take to reach up to desire pressure?” are typical questions, asked by majority customers who are inquiring about hydrotest pumps & equipment. It depends upon the following
