The iPhone Horn Stand is like a phonograph for your iPhone.
Simply insert your iPhone into the stand's silicone base to amplify its output volume by more than double. No batteries, wires, or external power source is required.
Decibels (dB) are used to measure the relative loudness of two sounds. An increase of 10 dB typically refers to a doubling of the perceived volume of the sound.
Due to the logarithmic nature of the decibel scale (you remember this from math class, right?), each subsequent 10 dB increase is another doubling. So, a 20 dB increase would represent a quadrupling in perceived loudness.
The iPhone Horn Stand provides a 13 dB boost and thus provides a 2-3 times increase in the loudness of your iPhone speaker.
Despite boosting the output volume the old school way, the iPhone Horn Stand's washable, flexible, and scratch-resistant silicone body is anything but "retro".
