screens wedge wire sieve screen suppliers. The Johson screens wedge wire consists of a concave curved profile wire screen mounted in a frame with the screen openings perpendicular to the flow.
The sieve screen has greater capacity than a flat screen due to forces exerted as material flows against the curved surface. The dewatering capacity of a wedge wire cross flow sieve bend screen is primarily influenced by the screen width, the slot opening, and the wire size (width). Screening efficiency and solids capacity are directly related to the length (arc length). Longer arc lengths should be considered for feed containing a high percentage of solids.

2) V-shaped wire creating, two point particle contact preventing plugging.
3) Inwardly opening slots (in-flow) preventing sand particles from remaining lodged in screen.
4) The V-shaped wire enhances well efficiency, ensures consistent pumping and long well life.
5) The continuous slot wedge wire offers higher open area than any other type of screens used for water well applications, such as slotted pipe, punched pipe, louver screens.
6) Wedge wires for each application are selected to maximize open area, resulting in the lowest possible cost for water extraction.
