LX Screw /spiral centrifugal pump for slurry pulp
LX series spiral centrifugal pump adopts a unique
twisted spiral blade, and the entire impeller is composed of a spiral part and a centrifugal part. The former's blades gradually increase in radius along the hub, playing a spiral propulsion role, while the latter is equivalent to the blades of a regular centrifugal pump, producing centrifugal effect. Correspondingly, the pump casing is also divided into two parts, with the suction cover at the front and the volute chamber at the back.
In order to prevent solid substances from blocking and allowing them to flow out smoothly, a twisted spiral blade is installed in the impeller, which extends axially from the suction port on the conical hub body. The radius of the blade gradually increases, forming a spiral flow channel.
Advantages (non-clogging and gentle pumping/non-shearing)
Its unique structure and good performance can transport liquids containing large particles and long fiber substances. The transportation of slurry runs smoothly, with minimal damage to the slurry and good non-destructive properties. The pump has a steep flow head performance curve and a flat power curve, with high efficiency and good gas conveying capacity, capable of conveying slurry with a gas content of up to 15 percent.
Applications:
In the field of sewage treatment: the discharge of high concentration untreated sewage and pollutants, such as the passing test of transporting plastic woven belts up to 1 meter long with larger diameter pumps;
River dredging: transportation of silt and sand;
Paper industry: transportation of high concentration pulp and long fibers;
