Product Description:Rapid Test Kit for Melamine
1. Principle
This kit is based on competitive indirect immunochromatography
technology, in which melamine in sample competes for the colloid gold labeled antibody with melamine coupling antigen captured on test line. The test result can be watched by naked eye.
2. Application
This kit is intended for rapid test of melamine residue in milk
3. Detection limit
Detection limit for milk sample: 0.5μg/ml
4. Kit components
melamine test strip 40 pcs Pipette 40 pcs
Dilution buffer for milk sample30ml
5. Sample preparation
Dilute milk sample with dilution buffer in the volume ratio of 1:4 (50μl milk sample : 200μl dilution buffer), mix completely.
6. Assay procedure
Take the test strip from the package, and use for assay within 1 hour.
Place the test strip at a flat level, pipette the prepared sample solution, add 3 drops into the sample region.
Start the timer as the added solution flows, observe the result within 3-5min, determine the result according to part 7. Result observed over 6min is invalid.
7. Result interpretation
Negative (-): Test Line and Control Line are both red, indicating that the melamine in sample is lower than the LOD of the kit.
Positive (+): No color shows in Test line, indicating that the melamine in sample is higher than the LOD of the kit.
Invalid: No color shows in Control Line, indicating the operation is incorrect or the test kit is out of date. In this case, please read the instruction again carefully, and do the assay again with new strips.
8. Notice
The strip is one-off, please use at room temperature.
Avoid direct sunlight when do the assay.
Do not touch the white membrane in the center of strip.
9. Specificity
This kit has no cross reaction with sulfonamide, chloramphenicol, tetracycline, quinolones, bovine serum albumin(BSA) and bovine IgG etc.
10. Storage and Valid date
The kit can be stored at 10-30℃ in dark cool place for 6 months. Please do not freeze
