Product Description:
The VS8 is a compact passive two-way wedge monitor enclosure designed for
use in a wide variety of live
sound, fixed installation and mobile DJ
applications that require professional sound quality in an easily
transportable format.
It consists of a 8” reflex-loaded low frequency driver and a 1”diaphragm high
frequency compression driver on a conical 60 degree waveguide horn in an
optimally tuned enclosure. These high grade components are matched with a
special passive crossover network to ensure a seamless transition between
the HF and LF drivers. As a full range system, the frequency response shall be
70 Hz to 18 kHz(-6 dB).
The cabinet is constructed from 15mm birch plywood, screwed and glued
together for maximum rigidity. Its shape allows the monitor to be used as two
different angles. In addition to its primary function as a floor monitor, the
VS8 is also suitable for front-of-house applications and can be used with the
integral pole mount socket on top of optional 35mm poles and loudspeaker
stands.
A grey powder coated perforated 1.8mm thick steel mesh grille protects the
drive units from damage. Double Neutrik Speakon NL4MP speaker connector
is located at the end of the cabinet on recessed panels.
Combined with TRANS-AUDIO SW Subwoofers, the VS8 allows to create
compact and powerful systems suitable for all indoor or outdoor
configuration. VS8 is also ideal for theatres, clubs, multi-purpose venues or
corporate events, and the stage monitor.
