are the estimated MBL of the sling and may be used as a guidance, taking into account the different termination/splicing losses in strength and the type of wire rope grades (EIPS, EEIPS, EEEIPS, etc. ) Spinning loss coefficient of 0.79 is included in the MBL. Consult SLN for best options to suit requirements.
4. The WLL of the sling should be based on the MBL after introducing the component calculations for factor of safety.
5. Bending efficiency ratio for the body D/d=9 and at the eyes D/d=0.5: 1. Consult SLN for sling re-rating information.
6. Reference guide Wire Rope Technical Board User Manual, ASME B30.9, BS EN13414, PM20 and IMCA.
