Application:
1、Applied superconductivity:
When the temperature is lowered to near absolute zero, some of the chemical nature of the changes will happen suddenly, and almost without resistance into a “superconductor”. People used the Niobium Titanium superconducting material with a DC generator. It has a lot of advantages, such as the size of it is small, the weight of it is light, the cost of it is low and it sends the electricity to a hundred times compared to normal power generator as the same size.
2、Medical applications:
It has excellent corrosion resistance, will not play a role in a variety of liquid substances in the human body, and almost with no damage to biological tissues, can be adapted for any sterilization methods, it can be combined with the organic tissue and be long to remain in the body with harmless.
3、Steel application:
Niobium as the micro-alloying elements does not change the structure of iron when it is added into the steel, but with the combination of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur, changing the steel microstructure. The strengthen role of the Niobium in steel is mainly fine-grained and dispersion strengthening, Niobium can form stable carbides and carbonitrides with the carbonitride in the steel, it also can dispersed the carbides and form a fine grain oriented steel.
