JT can customize hemispherical or super hemispherical domes according to customers’ requirements, which
are mainly used to protect precision instruments and cameras used in harsh environments, and is often used for deep-sea submersibles, deep-sea equipment monitoring, and underwater robots, optical dome also has a wide range of applications in the meteorological industry at the same time.

BK7 or H-K9L offers excellent transmission from 300nm up to 2µm, which is a relatively hard material, with excellent chemical durability, making it a cost-effective solution for VIS to NIR applications, and almost no bubbles or inclusions, JT can process various domes including fairing, hemispherical dome, super hemispherical dome, full thickness dome, perforated dome, flange dome.
Optical domes are made of two curved parallel surfaces, this geometric shape protects critical sensors and electronic devices and isolates them from the environment, minimizing damage to the optical path at the same time. Optical domes are commonly used in deep-sea submersibles, deep-sea equipment testing, and underwater robots, which are also widely used in the meteorological industry at the same time. Due to the continuous expansion of application fields, the types and specifications of optical domes provided by JT are also constantly increasing and changing.
