TPE, Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)
are materials that can be processed like Thermoplastic materials with rubber like properties at service temperature.
They are containing crystalline, physical cross linking points, which melts under heat without any degradation of the macromolecules.
TPU thermoplastic polyurethane is one of TPEs, so it is has all the above characters.
It has good elasticity and resilience, can adapt to pressure changes and temperature fluctuations, has appropriate softness, and can fit well with the contact surface.
