I. General Description
The horizontal cylinder paper winder, as the necessary accessory of the paper
machine with the same net paper web, is used to reel the paper web made by the paper machine into the homogeneous scroll.
This paper winder is driven by the drive system of the paper machine.
When the paper winder runs, the winding roll closely touches the surface of the rotating paper-winding cylinder and is driven by the later through the surface friction force. The linear pressure between the winding roll and the paper-winding cylinder can be adjusted by controlling the intake pressure of the air cylinder of the secondary arm and the air cylinder of the primary arm. Therefore, it can meet the requirements of various kinds of paper so as to wind the paper made on the paper machine into the homogeneous scroll.
Because the winding roll is driven trough the surface friction of the paper-winding cylinder, the rotating speed of the scroll is correspondingly reduced as the diameter of the winding roll increases gradually. Therefore, it isnt necessary to adjust it specially and very convenient in operation.
According to the different transmission position, the paper winder can be divided into the left-hand machine and the right-hand machine. Facing paper out direction of the machine, the paper winder which transmission unit is at its right side is right hand machine, usually expressing by Y; the paper winder which transmission unit is at its left side is left hand machine, usually expressing by Z. When choosing it, the user should pay attention to the factor that the direction of the paper winder should align with that of the paper machine.
