SI group SP-6700 equivalent;it’s a kind of thermoplastic reinforcing phenolic resin which
is from modified cashew nut oil.it can increase rubber hardness by 5~10%.it is a good replacement of traditional unmodified phenolic resin.it can dissolve in ethanol, ketone and ester.

Applications and characteristics:
Just like other ordinary phenolic resin, the structure of reinforcing resin S-6700 changes from liner structure into tridimensional network during cross-link reaction at the temperature above 150℃ in the presence of curing agent HMT or HMMM.at the curing stage, this kind 3D network will interpenetrate into rubber structure and form a polymer networks.it is the polymer networks which reinforce and harden the rubber.furthermore, there is long aliphatic hydrocarbon chain in reinforcing resin S-6700 besides methylene bridge.this can improve the brittleness of the rubbers and increase the cross-link density.so from the view of hardness effect, reinforcing resin S-6700 is the best choice.
During the operating process, reinforcing resin S-6700 has good plasticity and well compatibility.this is good for the resin to disperse in the fillers evenly.
Add reinforcing resin S-6700 at the early period of compounding;curing agent HMT or HMM is added with sulfur together at the late period of compounding.
reinforcing resin S-6700 can reinforce many different rubbers.it is widely used in tyre bead, tread, roller, conveyer belt, triangular belt etc
