In the immersing-pond sizing pressing operation, the
sizing pressing rolls must be used in pairs; and one hard roll and one soft roll can provide proper pressure for the highly efficient paper-sheet sizing operation.
The cladding materials of the soft sizing pressing roll must have extremely good wearing resistant, chemical corrosion resistant and high-temperature resistant properties and stable hardness, so that the soft sizing pressing roll can be ensured to obtain the optimum sizing effect and prolong its service life. And the cladding materials must also keep a certain surface smoothness so as to uniformly separate paper sheet and avoid the cracking of the rubber films
