Product Description:Scratch Resistance Tester Introduction
The application areas of the scratch resistance tester include:
rigid organic materials, paint adhesives, powder coatings, anodized materials, soft metals, plastics and glass, etc. It can also be used to test the adhesive quality of the same material, protective coatings and the ultimate performance of similar materials. The instrument consists of balance bar, fixed weights, adjusting weights, sample carrying discs, etc. Before the test, the height of the balancing rod should be adjusted according to the thickness of the specimen, so that the balancing rod can be kept horizontal after the scraping head is installed in the middle of the balancing rod and the specimen is mounted on the sample disc. During the test, the fixed weight does not move, and the moving adjustment weight controls the weight pressed on the specimen. As the disc rotates counterclockwise, the scraping head leaves an arc-shaped mark on the surface of the specimen.

1.2 Testing principle
Place the specimen in the recess of the thickness control device and adjust the position of the nut. The specimen is mounted on a rotatable circular platform and fixed with a pressure block and nut. Install the scraping head in the corresponding groove in the middle of the scale bar. Rotate the balance bar so that the head of the scraping head is in contact with the specimen. Start the instrument, the disc moves and the scraping head leaves a scratch on the surface of the specimen.
