Product Description:
Trans-Audio SW118 is a subwoofer offering low frequencies reinforcement
for medium to high power systems.
It uses single 18 inch speaker front-loaded
in an optimally-sized and tuned vented enclosures.
Trans-Audio SW118 Power handling capacity shall be 700W RMS long term
(1400 W peak) at a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. Usable frequency response
shall be 38 to 280 Hz (-6dB) referenced to the average level of the usable
response.
The single 18-inch transducer employed in the enclosure shall have a 4inch
diameter, Polyamide-imide coated two-layer, 27ga.copper voice coil for
improved power handling and durability and Kapton coil former for
increased rigidity and thermal protection.
Constructed from 18mm birch plywood, fitted with flush metal handles on
the left and right hand side, performing rugged cabinet and very easy for
carrying. The cabinet is finished in excellent black semi-matt textured paint
with a internal socket to accept standard loudspeaker stand and the front of
the enclosure shall be protected by 1.8 mm thick steel grille that is covered
with newest unique acoustically-transparent braiding.
The Trans-Audio SW118 is a compact multi-use subwoofer loudspeaker
specifically outfitted to serve in a variety of touring and F.O.H applications.
Moreover, SW118 offer a lot of choices for simple, easy arrayed .
Combined with TRANS-AUDIO full range speakers, the SW118 allows to
create compact and powerful systems suitable for all indoor or outdoor
configuration.
