Product Description:
We are a professional manufacturer of tungsten carbide tools, and can produce extensive range of carbide
inserts with excellent edge strength for a wide range of applications, including scarfing inserts for OD tubes.
Full series of SPUB-63 scarfing inserts for OD tube scarfing.
Special grade powder for excellent resistance to mechanical and thermal shock.
Advanced MT-CVD multi-layer coating technology for extended tool life, rather than TiN coating.
Suggestion: Using tooling that has a larger radius than required can create a flat. Tooling that has a smaller radius than required
can create fluke gouging from the corners of the tool. Improper radius selection can lead to increased tool consumption, lost
uptime because of frequent tool changes, and customers rejecting the finished tube. As a rule of thumb, select a radius that is
between 110 percent and 150 percent of the tube OD.
The SPUB series scarfing inserts also can be made according to your own specifications.
