The machining of hard metal materials requires significantly harder cutting materials.
Super hard cubic boron nitride (CBN) is the hardest known material eligible for the machining of ferrous materials and other super hard materials. PCBN materials posses properties of high hardness, high resistance to corrosion and high thermal stability. Tungsten carbide is a kind of HSM material of the pcd pcbn tools, this kind of materials is produced by the powder metallurgy Art, and it is cemented of the WC grain and the soft metal bond. Recently, there are various tungsten carbide with different components. Most of them take the Co as bond, Ni and Cr are also the common bond. Besides, some other alloy element can be added to it.
Applications:
PCBN Insert is used to process hardened steel, hardened cast iron, grey cast iron and iron series metal work pieces such as camshaft and crankshaft of automobile industry.

1.With the advantages of high abrasive resistance, high processing precision, good thermal conductivity and long service life.
