Product Description:
Tolhurst Batch-O-Matic solid basket 48" basket centrifuge. Serial # TA-15612. Used mainly with fine organic
particulates. Stainless steel contact surfaces. Basket is 30" deep and has 5 flites that hold 7.25" of cake to the side of basket. Total cake volume is 16 cuft. Centrifuge is capable of handling product that weighs up to 66 lbs per cuft. Basket turns at 1080 rpm. The product is feed through the top via 2" pipe to bottom of cake area. It is need forced the basket wall with centrifugal force and is forced up and over the walls of the basket. The liquids are discharged through a 4" flanged fitting in bottom of unit. Solids are discharged through connical bottom to 6" outlet. Unit is eqipped with five fingerd plow to clear cake material. Unit also has a CIP system. This unit is bottom driven and has center-slung suspension to handle unbalanced or liquid loads. The bowl is belt driven by hydrualic power unit. The hydraulic power unit provides 1100 psi turning at 1200 rpm with a 30 hp motor. Top has a 34" x 14" hinged access door. Unit requires 460 vac 3 ph electrical supply. Good Condition. (was rebuilt with in two years of the plant shutting down) Ask about SPC 4774.
