The UV weathering test chamber is mainly used to simulate the damage
of sunlight, humidity and temperature to materials; material aging includes fading, loss of light, strength reduction, cracking, peeling, chalking and oxidation. By simulating sunlight, condensation, and simulating natural humidity, the ultraviolet weather resistance test chamber can reproduce the damage that may occur outdoors for months or years by testing the samples in a simulated environment for several days or weeks. In the U4000V ultraviolet accelerated aging test machine, the fluorescent ultraviolet of the ultraviolet lamp can reproduce the influence of sunlight, and the condensation and water spray system can reproduce the influence of rain and dew. During the entire test cycle, the temperature is controllable. The typical test cycle is usually ultraviolet light irradiation at high temperature and a dark and humid condensation cycle of 100% relative humidity; typical applications are paint coatings, automotive industry, plastic products, wood products, glue, etc.

Ultraviolet rays in sunlight are the main factor that causes damage to the durability of most materials. We use ultraviolet lamps to simulate the short-wave ultraviolet part of sunlight, which produces very little visible or infrared spectrum energy. We can choose UV lamps with different wavelengths according to different test requirements, because each lamp has a different total ultraviolet radiation energy and wavelength. Generally, UV lamps can be divided into two types: UVA and UVB.
In many outdoor environments, the material can be wet for up to 12 hours a day. Studies have shown that the main cause of this outdoor humidity is dew, not rain. The unique condensation function simulates outdoor moisture erosion. In the condensation cycle during the test, the water in the reservoir at the bottom of the test chamber is heated to generate hot steam, which fills the entire test chamber. The hot steam keeps the relative humidity in the test chamber at 100% and maintains a relatively high temperature. The sample is fixed on the side wall of the test chamber, so that the test surface of the sample is exposed to the ambient air in the test chamber. The outer side of the sample exposed to the natural environment has a cooling effect, resulting in a temperature difference between the inner and outer surfaces of the sample. The appearance of this temperature difference causes the sample to have liquid water condensed on the test surface during the entire condensation cycle.
The spray system has 12 nozzles, 6 on each side of the test room; the spray system can run for a few minutes and then shut down. This short-time spray of water can quickly cool the sample and create conditions for thermal shock.

Optional illumination intensity control options can get accurate and repeatable test results; the light intensity control system allows users to set different light intensity according to different test requirements.
