Application:
ZNW series cylinder thickener can be used in the washing and dewatering of low consistency
pulp in paper making and pulping process. It works like a filter by gravity.
Design features:
ZNW series cylinder thickener consists of wire mould, pressure device of pressure roll, etc. Low consistency pulp (0.3~1.2%)is fed from inlet into its cylinder trough where the pulp is attached to the surface of wire mould along the direction of the low speed rotation of wire mould. The pulp water is drained by the level difference(1/5~1/2 cylinder diameter) between inside and outside of cylinder. The filtered pulp is carried in the rotating cylinder at low speed and further pressed and dewatered to 4~6% by the roll on gravity. The pressed pulp is removed from roll by a scraper knife and drop in outlet.
Wide adaptability to different kinds of pulps, low consistency dewatering, high dewatering ratio, high output, and using different wire mesh for white water quality control.
Output per square meter of wire area will be less 1 ton for masson pine GP, 2 tons or more for chemical pulp and 1.5~2 tons for straw pulp per day.
