down on a rate which is suitable for your shipment.
2.Inquire your supplier for the ocean rates.
3.Inquire the freight forwarder(where your goods be load, Port of load, ), comparing the quotes between the shipper and the freight forwarders(Port of load).
The first two cases is easy to solve, the last is more complex, because you don't know the credit of the freight forwarder, but the shipper is more familiar with the case, so recommend forwarder to your supplier with their quotation, in this way, you can avoid the shipper giving you a high ocean shipping quotation.
